Happy mid-week guys!
I know it’s only Monday but I sure just want it to be hump-day already so that the weekend can be here.
I’m curious. How have you been?
I wanna take you back two weekends, where I had such an incredible experience. Let’s start with the most part of the day being a festival where dog owners come together to showcase their fluffy ones, compete and make connections.
My brother, a Certified Dog Trainer was also showcasing his skills and expertise in the field and it was also his birthday so it was a good day!
After the event, where you can experience it on the vlog, We had to grab a few nibbles and we found this little pet friendly gem, Mint Leaf Kenya which is an Indian restaurant at the Waterfront, Karen.
I found it so amazing that you can dine with your dogs without a frenzy, and personally that works so well for me as a dog lover!
I enjoyed the open air sitting arrangements, and the intricate details indoors when the weather shifts, like it did for us.
Since it was an outdoorsy event, I went for a casual look as per usual because the weather was also cooperating.
I dressed down my washed off denims with a black velvet crop and a fanny pack to carry my essentials.I hadn’t taken out these pink sneakers in a while so it was just a breath of fresh air.
I’m a sucker for new experiences, and I’m sure you know that, so I was so happy to have found this Indian Restaurant that had such a flavorful feel, my personal favourite being the curry and naan basket.
If you get a chance to head there, trust me you’ll love it!
In between my eating breaks, I snuck a few chicken skewers for my Kiki who clearly wasn’t interested in taking a picture with her hooman.
She really just wanted to get back to our seat and have another bite.
I had such an amazing experience at The Mint Leaf Kenya , I really loved the drink portions, the fresh squeezes were very quenching and I had to sneak a cheeky picture before I gobbled everything up.
For a more detailed experience of this weekend, head on over to my YouTube Channel and watch the Vlog!

That’s it for this week guys!Do stay tuned for more but most importantly, stay safe!
xx
Sincerely, Didi
