High slits & Weekend Brunchin’

Ahoi there!

I hope you loves are doing well and that you’re having a productive week?

For me, I’m feeling top of the afternoon as I wore this post in my ethics class. Haha

Over the weekend, I made a brunch destination to this new restaurant Honey & Dough & I had the most beautiful experience.

If we know one thing it’s this: Nairobi has its fair share of absolutely gorgeous  insta-worthy restaurants & this cut it.

The Insta craze has gone way beyond simple flat lays and snapshots of our food. How so? You may ask.

Well, the restaurants have clocked on to all the Insta-action and are now tempting us with chic, flowery , flamingo and magazine-style decors and facades in addition to all that glorious aesthetic.

Speaking of flatlays, I couldn’t miss in on the action. I had to take a snap of the yummy pancakes I had with some fresh juice and dips.

For the look, I went for this gorgeous High slit dress that I got from Tique a bou which was perfect for my solo date.

I dressed the look with these drop dead gorgeous Perspex sandal heels and my blue clutch which deliberately disappeared during the insta shoot.

Spending sometime alone is perfectly therapeutic and I’d definitely recommend it. The best part about it was getting to meet Sharon Mundia !!!!

I’m sure you can see the excitement on my face ! Haha

Well that’s pretty much it for this week’s post, do stay tuned for more but most importantly stay safe!

Sincerely, Didi
